Clark Gable's Son Charged with DUI in Malibu Crash

John Clark Gable will likely not face prison time for the Malibu crash in April.

John Clark Gable, the son of actor Clark Gable, is facing misdemeanor charges of DUI and hit-and-run following a crash in April in Malibu.

Gable, who is accused of damaging six cars and a house on Pacific Coast Highway, told TMZ he was taking prescription medication and fell asleep behind the wheel.

Gable, 52, was allegedly driving a white Ford Raptor that rear-ended a Mercedes-Benz near the Malibu Pier April 2, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills Station.

The Mercedes driver called 911 to report the crash while following the pickup, which then crashed into six parked cars at 21322 Pacific Coast Highway, near Las Flores Canyon Road, the sheriff's department reported.

One of the parked vehicles was pushed into the garage of a home on PCH, investigators said, causing moderate to major damage to the structure.
