Update: Westbound PCH Reopens Following Crash
The accident was reported just before 4:15 p.m. at 22837 Pacific Coast Highway.
Westbound traffic on Pacific Coast Highway was blocked until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday due to a crash in eastern Malibu.
The crash was reported just before 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at 22837 Pacific Coast Highway, near the Budget Malibu Rent-A-Car, according to Malibu's Office of Emergency Services. Lt. David Thompson of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station said the highway was reopened around 5:30 p.m.
Eastbound traffic was allowed through as authorities responded, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
