Dog Involved in Malibu Crash Now at Agoura Hills Shelter

Marley is being held at the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter, and he will be available for adoption starting Nov. 20 if the owner does not come to claim him.

Marley, a 6-year-old male terrier, was riding with his owner on a three-wheeled motorcycle earlier this week when his life was turned upside down.

His owner, whose name has not been released by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, was thrown from his bike in a crash involving two other vehicles Tuesday on Pacific Coast Highway at Busch Drive in Malibu. A woman, 47-year-old Anna Caldwell, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence and child endangerment.

The rider, who suffered critical injuries, is expected to survive, as is Marley, who was picked up by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.

Marley is being held at the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter, and he will be available for adoption starting Nov. 20 if the owner does not come to claim him.

If anyone knows the rider, please let him know where his dog is being cared for. The Agoura Hills Animal Shelter can be reached at (818) 991-0071 and it is located at 29525 Agoura Road, in Agoura Hills.
