A car that was eastbound on PCH rear-ended another eastbound car that was stopped in traffic, said sheriff's Sgt. Ernie Masson of the Malibu/Lost Hills Station.

Some lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted, but all lanes were reopened within a couple of hours. Utility crews were sent to repair a power pole that was damaged.
