Justin Bieber Accused of Throwing Eggs at Neighbor's House

Malibu/Lost Hills Station deputies say the singer has declined to talk with them.

Singer Justin Bieber could be in hot water with the law again after being accused of throwing eggs at a neighbor's home, authorities said Friday.

Deputies went to the 25000 block of Prado Del Grandioso in Calabasas at 7:40 p.m. Thursday on a report of possible vandalism, according to sheriff's Sgt. Dan Negelmann of the Malibu/Lost Hills Station.

A man told deputies that his neighbor -- Bieber -- had thrown raw eggs at his house, Negelmann said. The case was being investigated as a possible misdemeanor vandalism, and a possible misdemeanor assault, Negelmann said.

There was someone outside the property at the time the eggs were thrown, but the person was not struck, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Whether an assault allegation is prosecuted would depend on a number of factors, including whether there was intent on Bieber's part to hit the person with the eggs, Whitmore said.

Bieber thus far has declined to talk with deputies, Whitmore said.

Deputies took a report, and the investigation was continuing.
