A man accused of chasing and harassing Pepperdine women is slated to be released Friday from custody.
Hank Lee, who has no affiliation with the university, made threats while in custody that he wants to "impregnate women at Pepperdine" and "kill anyone who gets in his way," according to an email from the school's Department of Public Safety.
Lee was submitted for an involuntary mental evaluation on Sept. 17 and investigators say he was in a delusional state when he made the threats, the Department of Public Safety reported.
"We also have learned that Lee may focus his attentions on light haired women specifically, and that he has followed Pepperdine students from a local shopping center in Malibu," the department said.
A restraining order has been filed against Lee, but he is set to be released on Friday, Nov. 2.
Anyone who observes Lee on the Pepperdine campus was asked to call 911 and then the Department of Public Safety at (310) 506-4441 (or extension 4441 on campus).
