PCH Crash Injures Two in Malibu

Only one vehicle was involved. And a pole.

A single-vehicle crash in Malibu today left two people hospitalized, authorities said.

Paramedics were sent to Pacific Coast Highway near Topanga Canyon Boulevard shortly after noon, said county fire Inspector Scott Miller. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.

The vehicle crashed into a pole, according to the California Highway Patrol, which was investigating the crash.

Both westbound lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene, but some traffic was being allowed onto a center lane of the roadway.
