PHOTOS: See Super Scoopers Fill Up With Ocean Water

Los Angeles County firefighters worked quickly Wednesday to put out a two-acre fire in Malibu Canyon, calling in for the aid of two super scoopers. 

The super scoopers filled up off Malibu Colony Beach with ocean water to help in the fire fight, which began about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday near Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road. The fire began when a vehicle overturned. 

Super scoopers are capable of carrying up to 1,620 gallons of water and can fill up in 12 seconds.
