Porsche Driver Survives 100 Foot Plunge Off Mulholland Highway

The man is uninjured in the crash on Mulholland Highway west of Decker Canyon, according to the L.A. County Fire Department.

The driver of a Porsche that went 100 feet over the side of Mulholland Highway in western Malibu walked away without injury Sunday.

The crash was reported at 4:20 p.m. Sunday north of 34342 Mulholland Highway, near Decker Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains, the L.A. County Fire Department reported.

Initially, firefighters discovered the Porsche, with its engine still warm, but not the driver, who eventually walked back to the crash site, the department reported.

The driver, who was not hurt, had climbed up the mountainside and sought help before returning to the scene.

Malibu Search and Rescue was also called to the scene.
