Students at Malibu High School were evacuated Wednesday following a possible bomb threat.
Administrators began evacuating students before police arrived, according to Sgt. James Braden of the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff's Station. The students were quickly released to their parents.
The threat was made about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Braden said. The call came in during sixth period, which lasts from 2:05-3 p.m.
Deputies swarmed the campus to check out the threat, which was described as having "low credibility," according to a statement sent out by administrators.
After-school athletics continued as usual.
Another bomb threat in May prompted the evacuation of three Malibu schools, but it was determined to be a hoax.
