A small brush fire broke out Thursday afternoon in Malibu.
The fire was reported at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 3300 block of Rambla Vista, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters were on scene of the 20 foot by 20 foot blaze, the fire department reported.
The fire was reported to be extinguished by 2:30 p.m. A chainsaw sparked the flames, according to investigators.
