Where to Watch Fireworks in Malibu

Fireworks will be displayed from barges off the coast of Malibu on Independence Day.

Malibu residents are treated to several fireworks shows on the Fourth of July every year, and this year will be no different.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department has issued four permits for professional fireworks displays to be launched from barges off the coast of Malibu for Thursday, July 4 beginning at 9 p.m. 

The locations are:

  • 21500 block of Pacific Coast Highway
  • 27900 block of Pacific Coast Highway
  • Malibu Colony Road
  • 22700 block of Pacific Coast Highway

Fireworks are strictly prohibited within the Malibu city limits. Pet owners can find information about protecting their animals during the holiday and throughout the summer from the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.
