Tree trimming and removing in the Point Dume area of Malibu will impact parking on public streets this week.
The Malibu Public Works Department will conduct the work as part of the city's Tree Maintenance Program from Wednesday to THursday, Aug. 14-15, according to the city.
Homeowners that have a tree scheduled to be worked on were notified in advance. Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted three days before the arrival of work crews in the area.
The contractor will ensure access to private property, except for short periods when it is difficult to do so.
