Malibu String Academy Shares Music with Gan Malibu Students

Children between the ages of four and seven came to perform a violin concert playing various songs.

The students at Gan Malibu Early Childhood Center were treated to a performance by the Malibu String Academy.

Under the direction of Dr. Maia Zander, children between the ages of four and seven came to perform a violin concert playing various songs for the age groups and technique levels represented.

Teachers at Gan Malibu have been working with the children on broadening their ideas of what music really is, from a homemade xylophone to chimes made up of spoons and drums made from paint cans, to the classroom area of sounds and various types of shoes for children to make music with their feet.
