Noah Blaustein to Read and Discuss "Flirt"

The event is free and will take place at Pepperdine's Fireside Room on Feb. 11 at 4 p.m.

The Diane and Guilford Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies at Pepperdine University will bring Noah Blaustein to the college for a special lecture on his recently published work "Flirt" on Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. The event will take place in the school's Fireside Room, located at 24255 Pacific Coast Highway.

"In this stunning first collection of poems Flirt, Noah Blaustein’s narrators face the complexities that shape a life: adolescence, fatherhood, our responsibility for the lives of others, the exhilaration of romantic love, and memory," according to the Pepperdine University website. "These anxious, frequently witty poems flirt with physical danger, with grief and happiness, and with mortality as a means to transcend the mundane in our day-to-day lives."
