The marathon race begins at Freedom Park in Camarillo and finishes at Zuma Beach. There is also a half marathon. The goal is to raise $100,00 toward a plan to build a Malibu retreat for Christopher's Haven, a nonprofit that provides a home away from home for families with a child undergoing cancer treatment at Boston's Mass General Hospital.
