Pepperdine Baseball Opener

This is the opening game of the season for the baseball team. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. at Payson Library with a reading of "Casey at the Bat" by Pepperdine alumnus and former Major Leaguer David Newhan and his father, Los Angeles Times baseball writer Ross Newhan. It includes free soft drinks and popcorn. The game against Eastern Kentucky begins at 2 p.m.
