Fundraiser to Support Malibu Skate Park Effort
The holiday party will take place at Duke's Malibu from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Legal skating options in Malibu have been limited since Papa Jack's Skate Park closed nearly two months ago. A temporary facility could be opening soon at , but building a permanent facility (that could be at Bluffs Park or several other locations) will be a large undertaking that will require some money.
A fundraiser tonight at will "get the ball rolling on fundraising," according to the restaurant/bar's Facebook page.
"There will be a raffle with lots of fantastic items from local vendors—$3 tacos and $3 beers will be available and live music from the Roman Helmets," the website states.

The party will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. A suggested $5 donation will be requested at the door. If you would like to donate raffle items, contact Chris Hanson at chanson310@charter.net.
