PCH Lanes to Close for Triathlon
Thousands of athletes are expected to take part in the Malibu Triathlon this weekend.
One lane in each direction of Pacific Coast Highway will be closed this weekend for the .
The lanes will be closed from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 15-16 from Heathercliff Road in Malibu to Deer Creek Road in Ventura County, according to the California Department of Transportation.
Pacific Coast Highway will remain open during the race, Caltrans reported.

Motorists were asked to be attentive to closures and watch speed limits for the safety of race participants, other motorists, and traffic control staff.
