Malibu Baseball to Host First Round of CIF Championships

The Sharks end the season with a school record of 23 wins and four losses.

Malibu High School baseball will host the first round of the 2013 CIF State Championships Friday.

The game is set for 3:15 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Sharks Field at Malibu High School. Their opponent has not yet been determined. 

"Congratulations goes out to the hard working Malibu Sharks Baseball Team," Coach Ari Jacobs said.

The Sharks won the Frontier League Title with a school record 23 wins and four losses overall. 

Malibu Sharks baseball is currently ranked No. 2 in CIF-SS Div. 6 heading into the post season.
