Malibu Seawolves Swim Team Take Part in Junior Olympics

Five Malibu Seawolves Swim Team swimmers competed in the competitive Southern California Swimming Summer Junior Olympics that were held at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks from July 24-28.  

Morgan Perlmuter competed in the 50 meter and 100 meter backstroke, and 200 meter and 100 meter freestyle.

Amy Perna competed in the 50 meter and the 100 meter backstroke.

Kennan Hotchkiss competed in the 100 meter backstroke, 200 meter, 400 meter and 50 meter freestyle, and 200 meter individual medley.

Logan Hotchkiss competed in the 800 meter, 400 meter and 200 meter freestyle, 200 meter backstroke, and 400 meter individual medley.

Farah Stack competed in the 100 meter freestyle, 100 meter backstroke and 200 meter backstroke.

All swimmers are under coach and Olympian Michael Alexandrov at the Malibu High School pool and all attend Malibu High School. The new season for the Malibu Seawolves Swim team will start on Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.
