Palisades-Malibu YMCA Announces Spring Classes

Indoor cycling and mom-baby classes are among the spring offerings from YMCA serving Pacific Palisades and Malibu.

Spring is sprouting a new lineup of classes at the Palisades-Malibu YMCA.

A high-intensity, interval training (H.I.I.T.) class gets underway on Fridays, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Indoor cycling classes, focused on improving energy, intensity and endurance, run on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 a.m. to 6:55 a.m. and Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The H.I.I.T and cycling classes are free with Y membership.

Alice Wood leads a baby group to help mothers with children 12 to 24 months have fun and get advice on raising their children. The class is structured to help mothers build friendships and parenting knowledge while their children develop social skills, coordination, balance and gross motor skills.

Baby group fees run from $40 for facility members to $95 for program members.
