Tuesday Wave Check

More minimal energy out there!

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Malibu Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing another day of mostly minimal energy out there. So you might as well make the boss happy and get to work on time!

Most spots are starting off fairly clean, with a little texture on it at some spots. We've got a tiny mix of some leftover west/northwest, a little southerly energy and a tad of new northwest swell.

That recipe is making for some pretty weak lines, with a few decent ones on a log.  Most Malibu spots are hanging around ankle- to maybe knee-high, with the top spots pulling a few waist-high sets.

At 6:10 a.m., the tide dropped to a 1.6 low, which will have many breaks desperate for water early on.  The tide will push back up to a 3.3 high at 11:44 a.m., and then drops again to a 1.4 low at 5:33 p.m.

If you're really in need of a salt water bath, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temp hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. Good luck out there!
