In The Irons Show Stable Girls Make Strong Impression at July Show

A number of young Malibu riders walked away with blue ribbons at the AHASFV July Jamboree.

On Sunday, July 1, a group of young girls and beautiful horses from In The Irons Show Stable in Malibu attended the Arabian Horse Association of San Fernando Valley July Jamboree Fun Show at the Arroyo Simi Equestrian Center in Simi Valley. Several of the girls came away with blue ribbons from the competition. 

Those girls are Ava Derevlany (age 13), Ava Cohen (age 12), Georgia Polk (age 9), Helen Wuellner (age 12), and Paradis Gowhari (age 10).

Lori Armin, a schoolteacher from Woodland Hills, showed her horse Fancy Katrina in the halter class and took first place, and fifth in Liberty. While riding Dream Khatjur she placed  first in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Pleasure, and second in Walk-Trot 11 and Over Equitation.

Ava Cohen, a 12 year old from Malibu, placed second in Walk Trot 11 & Over Pleasure, third in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Equitation, second in Walk-Trot Novice Rider, third in Halter with Hyasha, third in Liberty.

Helen Wuellner, another 12 year old from Malibu, placed fourth in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Pleasure, fifth in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Equitation, first in Walk-Trot Maiden Rider, and third in Walk Trot Novice Rider.

Ava Derevlany, a 13 year old from Venice, placed 1first in Liberty with Doubletree’s Claim to Fame, fifth in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Pleasure, fourth in Walk-Trot 11 & Over Equitation, second in Walk-Trot Maiden Rider, and 1st in Walk-Trot Novice Rider.

Georgia Polk, a 9 year old from Malibu, placed first in Walk-Trot 10 & Under Pleasure, fourth in Walk-Trot 10 & Under Equitation,  fourth in 10 & Under Novice Rider, and fourth in Liberty with Go Go Dancer.

Paradis Gowhari, a 10 year old from Malibu, placed third in 10 & Under Walk-Trot Pleasure, fourth in Walk-Trot Maiden Rider, and fifth in Walk-Trot 10 & Under Equitation.
