CERT Team Members Graduate from Noah's Wish

Volunteers learn animal safety for disasters during two-day Noah's Wish course.

Malibu City hosted a special training by Noah’s Wish over the weekend. This two-day course prepared volunteers to create, manage and maintain a pet shelter during times of disaster.  Brad Davis, Community Emergency Response Team leader and the city’s Emergency Response Coordinator, is working with residents and volunteers to make the city safer. He congratulates and thanks the following people who stepped up and donated their time to take this valuable training.

The purpose of Malibu CERT is to assist the City of Malibu by providing assistance, as needed, for emergency disaster response to the City of Malibu and surrounding communities and to educate and promote disaster/emergency awareness to all citizens. For more information, contact Brad Davis, Emergency Services Coordinator, at (310) 456-2489 extension 260 or bdavis@malibucity.org.
