I am taking my cue from Fireball, a fellow blogger here on Malibu Patch. He told us why he was blogging and what to expect. I, of course, assumed that everyone knew what I was up to. Well, that was kind of silly of me.
I am blogging about safety. I’ve always had my nose stuck in some aspect of safety, from being a registered nurse and an LAPD officer specialist (yes, I went over the wall before they took that particular challenge away because women complained), to serving on the Public Safety Commission and founding a site called Emergencyland.com (now in a beta version).
If you have specific safety things you’d like me to cover, please tell me in the comments section. Otherwise, I will blog and blather away about safety related ideas, suggestions, products and events. Some upcoming topics you won’t want to miss are bike safety on PCH, how to make a safe room in your Malibu abode and free safety Apps. Thanks for reading!
