Malibu Adoptions Can Save These Lives

Bean
Everyone loves beans. They add so much to any cuisine, are not expensive, and can be mild or spicy. Same is true for our darling puppy South L.A. Bean. She's a favorite of the medical staff who see her daily. And, when potential adopters come to visit, she demonstrates her people-pleasing skills.

A puppy at just 11 months of age and 15 thin pounds, Bean is ready to start the life she deserves. Just look at those soft doe eyes, that creamy colored coat, and long elegant legs. She's a little beauty, without doubt.  Bean has been at the shelter twice already. The first time, booked in as a stray, and then quickly adopted.

Sadly, her new family noticed she was limping and decided to bring her back to the shelter rather than find out exactly what was wrong and treat it. It seems that Bean might have had an injury while a teensy little girl, leaving her with a partial hip luxation. This means that she may do a quick skip or hop every so often.  But, medical reports are that she is doing great with some cage rest and anti-inflammatories.

There is no reason why Bean cannot be adopted and live a happy, carefree, running-after-you-everywhere life. She certainly does that when she's out in the play yard now. Please consider saving the life of beautiful Bean. Our medical area is packed and she cannot be held much longer. It would be tragic for this girl to lose her life. Let's get her life saved!! Bean's Adoption ID No. is A1396723.

Princess

Although she comes from a royal background, Princess doesn't stand on formality.  I think you can tell by the shaggy hair and those freckles on her face.  Princess is an absolutely darling little girl.

Surrendered by her owner because they were moving, Princess initially spent her days at the front of the cage, curled up in a ball, very, very depressed.  Or else hiding in her cubby. But, the moment you pay attention to her, another dog appears. Out in the play yard this four-year old, 43-pound spaniel was full of  joie de vivre. She ran and pranced and came flying up to me, rubbing her head against my arm for some petting.

Princess can truly be your very best friend.  She's gentle, sweet, quiet, and adorable. And she seems to be perfectly relaxed around other doggies.  What more could anyone ask? All that Princess is asking is that you come to the South L.A. shelter to meet her. She'd love to make you her Prince -  or Princess or whatever it takes. Let's break her out of this joint - fast! Her adoption ID No. is A1361193.
