Fundraiser to Benefit Safety Harbor Kids

Safety Harbor Kids works to support local orphans, foster and homeless children.

Hundreds are expected to enjoy a day full of polo, music and food to support Malibu-based Safety Harbor Kids next month.

The sixth annual Safety Harbor Kids Polo Fundraiser is set for June 9 at the Will Rogers Polo Fields in Pacfic Palisades.

The event will feature a tasting by Malibu Family Wines, hand rolled Cubans, an auction, raffle and door prizes. Attendees will include Eric Roberts, Sofia Milos, Bai Ling and several surprise guests.

“We are here to raise funds while having fun,” said Safety Harbor Kids President, Petrie Alexandra Williams. “This is an elegant event and one of the most beautiful places in all of Los Angeles – Will Rogers knew what he was doing.”

Will Rogers, who made both silent and sound films, bought the more than 100 acres in Pacific Palisades and built the polo fields in the 1940s.

Safety Harbor Kids Career, Music and Art education programs serves orphans, foster and homeless children. Tickets are for reserved luncheon tickets are $95 per person, advanced purchase tickets are $75 if bought by June 2, general admission is $50 and childs admission is $15.
