Malibu Relay for Life Asks For Community Support

The 2nd annual Malibu Relay for Life is set for May 19-20 at Sycamore Cove State Beach.

Nine teams participating in next week's Malibu Relay for Life have raised $1,545 so far for the American Cancer Society, but organizers say they need more help.

"It's a blast all day on the beach and it is a great way to support those you know who have passed, are fighting or have beat cancer," said Destine' Thie, Registration & Accounting Chair for the event.

The second annual Malibu Relay for Life is set for May 19-20 at Sycamore Cove State Beach, where there will be bands, games and food trucks, Thie said.
