Malibu High School
Malibu High School is a joint public middle school and public high school. It is part of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. The middle school was created at the current property in 1963. The high school began in 1992 with the first freshman class. Malibu High was named a California Distinguished School in 2003. <i>US News & World Report </i>in 2007 named Malibu High the 98th-best school in the nation. The principal is Mark Kelly.
