Planning Commission
<p>The Planning Commission is a five-member body that makes decisions on various development proposals. Its decisions are final unless they are appealed to the City Council and/or California Coastal Commission. The commission also makes recommendations to the council on changes to the city's land use laws. The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at City Hall's Council Chambers.</p> <p>Each City Council member appoints one person to the Planning Commission.</p>
