Tema Merback was born July 17, 1953 in Los Angeles. She is the mother of Natasha, 23, and Benjamin, 14, and wife of Joe. She is a pianist (classical music:  I favor Beethoven & Chopin), hiker (last summer Kalaulau in Kauai), gourmet cook (last night whole oven roasted sea bass stuffed with cherry, tomatoes, garlic, saffron, etc), author of novel (In the Face of Evil:  Based on the Life Dina Frydman Balbien), lover of life. 
From Oct. 5 to Oct. 15, she will be on a build for the Fuller House in Peru (like Planet Habitat, they build housing for the poor) and after will hike from Cuzco to Machu Picchu with her friend Veda Kaplan.
