Where is my beach?

I live on the north end of Malibu Road.  I've always had a nice stretch of beach in front of my place, where we would sit and socialize; play with kids and dogs and watch all the people walking by... but not now.  My beach has been wiped away for months...
I have my own staircase descending to the great beach I once had.   Though, only 4 months ago, the bottom 2 stairs were buried in the sand, they now rise 4 feet above the sand.  For months, I haven't been able to use my staircase to access the beach, unless I jump off.   This is a very strange turn of events.   I can rarely walk south, as the water is just about always up to the steps/boulders in front of the houses.  With some low tides, I can walk toward Blocker beach, but even that is iffy.
Our beaches have changed... quickly and drastically changed.  We used to have flocks of birds where there are now only a few.  Dolphin and seal sightings were continuous - now they are few and far between.  The fish have obviously gone elsewhere for some reason.  The wind has been non-stop gusting and at times the waves are so huge and break so close to shore, I witness them splashing over ground floor decks next door and gushing to the back, under our buildings, shaking the houses to the very core.  I love living at the water - but not necessarily living over the water.
I only write this because I wonder how many people are experiencing this new phenomenon.  I am told by people who have lived here for eons that the beach will come back, it always does.... but what if it doesn't?
The world has experienced climate change like never before.
This is a drastic change... at least 4 feet of drastic change.
Where is my beach?
